We ended up moving to Maryland where direct entry midwives are now legal! Francie I am so glad you found such great midwives and had a positive experience!

Hi Barbara, thanks for commenting. Unfortunately, my list is limited to home birth midwives or birth centers, to assist women in finding a safe way to birth outside a hospital. I chose not to include doulas, mainly due to the length of the page, although I think doulas are valuable assets during a birth.
